Hi. What spark plugs are recommended for a de-catted S3 please? I'm currently running NGK BCPR6ES and use the car for normal driving. Cheers Mark.

It depends on your engine. You may have tapered or flat spark plug seats and both types are fitted, You can tell by a letter stamped on the head (K for taper and F for flat), Some one will be along soon with a better photo or to point you to the other old threads covering the subject as I am not sure this covers all the detail you need

Pretty sure mine's running the same plugs - just come in from the garage but I'll check next time I go out.

Hi. Mine has a K on the heads, so must be BPR6EF (got wrong plugs) I can't see that the plug seats are tapered but not sure what they look like! Cheers Mark

If you look at the other thread linked above you'll see mine has a K on the heads to, but has flat NOT tapered plugs. Have a look at some plugs in a shop and you'll easily see the difference.

Will do. Thanks Gary. You never know it might run a bit better with the right plugs in! Cheers Mark

Just spotted you're in the Midlands - if you're close to Nottingham you're welcome to come and look at my plugs wink
