Quick US Share Trading - Need Help ASAP!!

Hi Guys

I need to by some shares on the NYSE ASAP and am having my HSBC invest direct + account updated, but I will have missed the boat by the time that goes through.

Does anyone know where/how I can trade quickly, ideally online or over the phone?

I'll check out their site for more info, but do you know if you can create an instant account to start trading or does it take a few days to setup?

Spread betting might be your quickest way to do this, as in account setup without too many hurdles.

When I tried to buy US shares through my existing TD Waterhouse account there were lots of forms and IDs etc to present. Right pain in the arse.

Not to worry, setup an account now and will buy when it re-opens tomorrow afternoon.
