I believe it is a Bitsa mossie (bits of this mossie, bits of that one...) the plan is to get it into engine running condition. it will take "some time" because apparently the Fred Dibnah character "only has one pair of hands". Welcome to Yorkshire!

Tony might have been the chap I saw. He wasn't all that talkative. I suppose after 40 years of answering the same questions he is a bit fed up with them!

The Yorkshire Air Museum is worth a visit - as well as the Mossie there is a Halifax bomber, a Nimrod and Victor, two or three Buccaneers, a Harrier GR3, Tornado GR1 and GR5, replica Spitfire, Hurricane, Me-109, a beautiful blue Hunter, a collection of different rear gun turrets, a WWII control tower. It is set up as a WWII bomber base.
