Just a quick TRAFFIC ALERT

If anybody is in the Nottingham area...

DON'T GO NEAR GUNTHORPE BRIDGE (over the Trent)

Notts County Council have started bridgeworks and the traffic around that area is expected to be HORRIFIC.

Probably also have a knock on effect on the other Trent crossings.

Cheers, Phil

Oh yeah,

Forgot about the ring road, and the sodding tram system, and Mapperley Top resurfacing, and... and...

Yep, have to agree, just avoid Nottingham.

Cheers, Phil

So apart from me and Phil, is there anyone else from the Traffic Nightmare Town/Aera of Nottingham on here?
Or just anyway near by, Mansfield? Derby? Chesterfield?
Billb, your profile doesn't give me much of a clue, so appoliges if your from Notts!

family are from notts hence why i support forest but i live in northampton so say what u like! Only thing I know about nottingham traffic is it was the first place where'd I'd encountered the dreaded average speed speed cameras...

I work in MK where although I hate this place I have to admit the traffic flows vvv well and those roundabouts are great fun at speed...

Currently living in Leicester but originally from Notts and family lives there still. Nottigham has always had it in for motorists, they were the first to use average cameras as well I believe.
