Hi

I put £5K into a Fidelity China Special Situations Fund ISA approx 2 years ago, its now worth £5230.

Is it worth keeping for say the next ten years or would I be better off looking for a better investment?

Thanks

If you switch you know it will jump to 5.5 in a couple of weeksbiggrin

China is in a transition from an export to a consumer oriented economy, while at the same time trying to control their real estate speculators.

Choosing a single country fund is always a bit risky and it being Spec Sits makes it even narrower.
But it is Fidelity, so worth sticking with it.

Certainly better growth prospects that UK.

Out of interest, what did you pay in fees during that period?

To be honest I have no idea, I will have a look at the paperwork when I get a chance.

Expense ratio cut from 1.5% to 1.2% this year. Quite low considering.
Fidelity appear to be sucking up anything over 1.2
