Ted, Just ask us if you want to know what we think, all that how many kids do you have and do they have a full complement of legs stuff is proper annoying.

For the record, I think the news is a bit thin nowadays - used not to bother with reading autocar and now am doing so again and Mr Farrago has gone from controversial car reviews to being a not so funny verion of Teds rants - he was much better when on topic.

Regarding the survey, that's more demographic info that is useful when marketing the site. If you don't want to fill it out then don't.

Agreed on the news front - I'm conscious that it's been a bit crap of late.

Have you filled in the questionnaire then Ted? There's lots of information that looks useful to the organising company (Novartis?), and very little that is specific to PistonHeads.

And even more laughable for targeting your PH audience is the selection of cars for us to choose from in describing our household fleet: apparently noone owns sports cars .....

And to cap it all, how the am I supposed to know the population of my town?

I appreciate some of it isn't that well targeted but when I ran the same survey a couple of years back it provided some very useful data, including how the site compares against the average in terms of readership.

Last time it proved that you're a bunch of wealthy blokes who mainly work in IT/Finance and who like to spend money on gadgets. Ok, so I knew that already, but it gave me some hard evidence!

Have not - I got half way through and was asked what the ages of my 5 oldest children were - that'll help your marketing - it just seemed to be for the benefit of Novartis or whatever they are called and not you - who I'll gladly help.
