Advice/help required please. After nine years my S2 spider isst about ready. I have a set of original Momo Vega wheels that are just back from being refurbed, I believe they need 185/70 14s but what which tyre? I don't know what they would have originally had. I can get a reasonable deal on Michelins but are they best suited. What do you people reckon?

Many thanks.

Try
http://www.vintagetyres.com/

Sorry I don't know what would be best for the spider, but the site should give you some options!

You might have better luck asking on spider owners clubs, see what people recommend.

Good luck.

Vintage Tyres concentrate on replica Tyres which are the same profile as original, in your case 165R14, (I think). Vredestein Classics are a possible option for those.

185/70-14 is a modern(ish) Tyre profile which is well suited to the 105 cars and you can get a reasonable range of Tyres. Try the common websites like MyTyres or Blackcircles to get an idea.

A recent thread on the AROC site, came up with the following which people rate.
Pirreli P6 Cinturatos
Uniroyal Rain Experts
Michelin NCT5
Vredesteins Sportracs
