Murci Insurance

Apologies as I know that this subject has been done before, there's doesn't seem to be a search option on my laptop...

Just rang Liverpool Victoria (who currently insure my 360) and they refused outright to insure a Murci. Strange as I'm sure they've been mentioned before regarding Lambo insurance.

Any other suggestions from anywhere else...?

Give Stuart Eden a try at First Point Insurance - they'll do it for you no problem - and they were even cheaper than the (usually excellent) Mark Abbott at Cheam Insurance. 01604 499 799. Nice guy, and good cover too.

try Nowell and Richards (ask for Richard specifically though).

I was quoted £5,200 for UK car with tracker. It was the best I got, others either wouldnt quote, or quoted skyhigh (£12K etc)

I'm 26 with no convictions, no claims, and 8 yrs NCB, London postcode.

It's in with the deal! Would not pick up the car without it.

I concur with ninja eli, my Murci insured through Richard @ Nowell & Richards costs £2600 fully comp, no mileage restrictions, with a Navtrak. I'm 37 full no claims and 6pts for speeding (in my Jeep).

Try A-Plan (01494 677776): I don't know if they are good with Lambos but they do specialise in high performance cars.

They were very competitive for my latest quote, and good to deal with.

Awesume quotes for the Murci. Lowest I had so far was 7,500 (26 yrs, 5NCB, 0 pts) from 1st Direct. 5,200 is certainly a good figure... was that for a LHD or a RHD... or does it not make a difference to them?
