Discussion
3 weeks ago i sold my tuscan (very reluctantay)after the arrival of my a little bady girl in march of this year i had only done 800 miles in the tiv!
so what could ever replace the enjoyment of a tuscan s ? bearing in mind i need to get the little one in the back and the baggage the comes with her yet still give me a thrill
my budget is 40k i have looked at 911`s (no boot)so i test drive the m3 and the 4200 masser
i am due to pick the masser up this weekend have i done the right thing?

Skyhook is comprised of six acceleration sensors: three that record the movements of the body and are positioned in the front struts and the right-hand rear strut of the dampers; two are inside the hub carriers of the front wheels; and there's also a lateral acceleration sensor in the front part of the chassis. The information from the sensors enables Skyhook's main processor to monitor the movement of the wheels and body of the car with precision and adjusts the dampers to the appropriate setting.
OK thats the marketing hype. In reality the actual difference between normal and sport isn't huge - it is spottable on a hard drive though.
Skyhook works with the traction control, so selecting sport loosens the grip of the T/C (you can go sideways but it reins you in - unless it's raining...).
This is the best way to drive the coupe (3200/4200/gransport) on the road. UNLESS it's raining in whichcase be sensible and stick to wimp mode, save your tyres and avoid hedges.
I have met several people who have written off 3200's - all were in sport mode, in the rain....
Nutter,
Came out of tuscan ownership for the same reason as yorself,be assured you will not regret your choice...on that rare occasion you see or hear a Tuscan you may experience withdrawal symptoms...... only to be excpected the Tuscan is a exceptional car.
To help ease the 'shakes' i fitted a straight through exhaust which eases the transition

Nutter, you've joined at last! A warm welcome to the world of PH
You have made a good choice and you will love the 4200. Now all you need is another littl'un to keep M company in the back. I feel another European jaunt is necessary - after all M was announced on your first trip away
