SLX double crank

Could anyone please give me some advice, I have seen a double SLX crank on CRC and wondered if it would fit on my 05 demo 8 it has a hozafeller on now thanks Graeme

You will need a new BB, most likely hollowtech.

yeah i think it comes with bottom bracket but i didn't know if there were different sizes

There are: many DH bikes rum 83mm bottom bracket shells, whereas yer' average MTB may run 68mm IIRC.

cranks come in different lengths - arm length - too. Try and match what's on or it will feel odd.

It's a 73mm bottom bracket, so thats a standard one bb which would fit either 68 or 73mm shells, the difference being with a 68 you fit 2 spacers on the non drive side and one on the drive side. With the 73mm you just have one on the drive side. The spacers come with the BB.
