Evening people,

Just bought my first car the other week and am due to pick it up in a couple of weeks. Its a Black Bayswater Cooper S, I'm looking for ideas/suggestions for things to help improve the acceleration/torque. I was looking to do the JCW tune but for the money and the power improvement it doesn't seem to be worth the money.

I'm a newbie to all this so any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Depends how deep yours lets are.

A simple remap will be a few hundred and give you a healthy power increase

Although if its your first car I'm sure as standard it will be plenty, aren't they 170bhp+?

They're 184Bhp, its a lovely car. But as im male im never happy with what ive got and always want more.

I want to go for the wolf in a sheeps skin look. I love the car to bits and cant stop thinking of it alllll day long. lol.

I want to boost the acceleration but don't want to go OTT and do whats healthy for the engine as I don't want to ruin it tooooooo much. Where is good, reputable for remaps?
Cheers

I only have a decent knowledge of the R53 but if you go on minitorque and have a search I'm sure you will find what you need
