Thrilled couldn't sum up my latest purchase.

Upgrading from a Cooper S to a JCW couldn't feel more different. I love it!

After doing the usual clean it 2 times over the weekend...(thats usual isn't it?) I've noticed a few things.

1. Centre caps have started corroding already!
2. One of the Hubs has started rusting significantly.
3. The locking wheel nut has gone all rusty

I was wondering if the above is covered by warranty or is just considered wear and tear? If not looks like I'll be getting the sand paper out!

Looking good. The wheel nuts on my MCS are all rusty too, nothing a bit of elbow grease or £20-30 for a nw set won't solve.

Re the centre caps, i beleive they all tend to corrode after a while, perhaps have a look around for a set of new ones?

Nice car - Eclipse Grey I think - definitely the fastest colour!

I have the same wheels and centre caps on a 60 plate and mine look pretty much the same, I am just waiting for a convenient time to re-furb the wheels and will change them then.

The hubs on mine have a small amount of surface rust as well, it has never taken hold and got worse so not sure what the position is on warranty etc.

I can also reccommend Forge Motorsport Intercooler, downpipe and a remap, takes the performance to another level :-)

there is no rust on your hub
unless plastic caps can rust

you just need a new sticker, or you can replace the whole cap, but they are a pain to get off without taking the wheel off
