Apparently it's alright. Bit dog eat dog in some departments (buyers) but from my experience the people are down to earth.
I work over the road and have to say the traffic in/out of B&Q in the morning / evening is a complete f
king nightmare!! Get a push bike if you're successful!
I work next to B&Q and apparently a lot of the staff there are 9-5 admin types and stick to that like glue so come 5pm they all leave at once.I work over the road and have to say the traffic in/out of B&Q in the morning / evening is a complete f

Combine that with people leaving the offices next to the M3 and you have quite a lot of cars all on the road at the same time of day.
If they put a pavement between Asda and B&Q then that would also help the queues from the pelican crossing although a lot of people have found the 'secret' shortcut between them now.
The M27 junction is meant to be improves early next year so that should hopefully help although it will always be bad.

I commute to Blandover everyday at the moment anyway, so sat in traffic for a bit would certainly beat the dreaded A34!
If you will be coming from the M3 each day then you will avoid the worst of the traffic as that tends to be heading towards the M27 junction. Plus you will be going against the main M3 traffic flow each morning.
Going home from B&Q you have the option of going to Asda then left to the start of the M3 or right through Chandlers Ford and join it a few junctions up. Or you you can go right from B&Q, the left at the roundabout up Falklands Road to Leigh Road and pick up the M3 from there.
Generally after half 5 is quietens off but if there is an accident on the motorway then all bets are off
