overseas cover?

after breaking down in italy earlier this year, and finding out that the AA didn't have me down for 5* cover (their mistake) I am looking around for another solution for next months trip to nurberg!!
someone told me that the AA cover is for 1 item only, so i would have been ok with my coil failure, but if I'd had an off and say damaged a wheel/rim/hub etc I'd have been st**fed!
so, can anyone recommend either insurance cover for overseas accident / breakdown OR service organisation?
