Hi Guys some advice needed.

Our house has been up for a while and we have came under offer. in this time we havent been thinking about our mortgage. We are selling as chain free and clearing our present mortgage. and moving in with the inlaws to bolster our savings

So for the new one where is best to go. will the high street banks be able to offer us a good deal or will a mortage broker be the best way?

Info: current motgage of £225,000 selling for £265,000 leavig £37,000 after fees,
we have £30,000 and with the profit of £37.000 in savings so total of £67,000

Plus we have generous parents who will booster this to around double. so despsit will be around 110-120K.

£45,000 combines income and 1 child no credit cards only £265 for a lease deal so any ideas on roughly how much we will be looking at.

TIA

Mortgage Broker all the way!! waveysmile

You will be looking at max borrowing of circa £225k plus your £120k deposit means properties up to a max of £345k.

Thanks Liam

We thought they would be the figures. We have an option of staying longer at our parents and that will add about 7K to it as they have said its rent free.
