Quite exciting start of the GP today with cars actually racing Hmmm its just not good enough i paid my money to see an orderly procession , whats wrong with England cant they organise this like all the other countrys do .

Also i always thought that overtaking in the pit lane was not alowed , oh i remember if your teams name starts with an F and your initals are MS its OK , i wonder what would have happened if JPM did the same .

Thank heavens I wasn't the only one that wondered about that. Why didn't Frank or Ron complain?

Honestly, I think that the car in the way was slowing down slightly to pull into his pit crew.

Pretty good race thou? I heard attendance was only 60,000 or so and that they capped the number of tickets being sold despite the new highway in.

Hmm, yes, surprisingly good. But then wet races generally are, aren't they? Ummm?
Sadly, I intend to maintain my grumpy-old-git stance on current F1 and have a moan.
Does anyone now seriously think that the following are good for F1:
- Refuelling,
- Tyre wars ?

Over half the field had their race ruined by either;
- crap refuelling rigs, or
- not being allowed to use the best tyre available.
Grrr.

Silver lining - it looks like Schuey can wrap it up next race, thus allowing some "real" racing to ensue. Of course, Ferrari may then use team orders, blocking etc to ensure RB gets 2nd in the WDC!

Sorry, but have made a point of NOT watching F1 this season after Austria,

BUT

Overtaking in the pit lane????????
FFS what's that all about, somebody wanna have the all time mother of a wipe out, or is someone that ARROGANT that the lives of pitlane mechanics are worth NOTHING???. MoJo.

It was more of an undertaking move...MS moved right over to the left to get past a slow moving car about to pull into it's pit.

Seems to me that if a bit of rain can make the race so exciting, then it's about time the rules were changed to reduce the grip and or downforce of the modern F1 car.

It was great to see the driver's faced with a bit of oversteer for a change!

He was pitting but when MS came past him he was still in the pit lane and had to move over , on the incar footage you could see it was a very very small gap that MS "made" to be able to get through , its just not on the marshalls and pit crews have had enough "accidents" in the last 3-4 years and here is the World Chump doing it,, like others here i can not belive no body said a thing about it .

Nice idea, but we know that Bernie would ask Ross Brawn to control them, don't we .
