Hi all. Has anyone changed the 13mm nuts that hold the tuscan bonnet on for some kind of quick release fasteners like Dzus for example? I've only just got my car and too be honest it's embarrassing when people ask to see under the bonnet and I have to get out my socket set and mess around for 10 minutes first. I don't want to go to a hinged bonnet as I like the idea of getting it right out of the way.
Any suggestions welcomed. Pictures and examples?
Thanks in advance.

Full flip bonnet Walford style.

Walfords is probably the best I've seen. Hope he doesn't mind me linking his pic.

Ideal is a bonnet that can half open, if you are outside and they is some wind
but can also open fully if you are in a workshop, and want to service the engine

av posted on subject before most people seam happy with half open bonnet, but dont service they own cars

I must admit that does look good. Most I've seen are still two piece types and the main bonnet doesn't look like it opens enough to be of use unless you like fibre glass rash in the back of your head.
I'm guessing your conversion was a fair amount of work?
