Some guidance please.

Guys and girls, I shall soon be looking for a new job and have no clue what it is I'd like to be aiming at. I'm after a little guidance as to what I could do and how available jobs are to get.
A little background on me.
Currently 24 years old, f
ked up at school and ended up with poor GCSEs vs my predicted grades.
Worked in Pubs/Restaurants for 4-5 years when I was younger and progressed to an assistant manager at the age of 20.
I'm currently in the Army, have been for 3 years but due to a medical issue, that will come to an end in approx 6 months through medical discharge.
Until I get my discharge paperwork through I do not know the resettlement figures to help me out with the transition to a job in civvy street.
My qualifications are in an electrical area, which is something that I enjoy but would like to aim a little higher. At the end of my trade course I was one of 2 to be recommended for a clerk of works course much further down the line so I can't be too bad at what I do.
I have all the C&G 17th edition quals, a level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation and a few other things to go with.
I do not have the test & inspect certificates, nor am I JIB registered.
Just after a little guidance on where I should be planning before I get my leaving date.
