Hi Guys,
Am considering upgrades for my 2000 Z3M Roadster, need more speed Been looking at G-Power supercharger stage 1 plus RaceLogic traction & launch control.
Anyone got any experience with the above either combined or in isolation on a Z3 or M3 (especially the supercharger, haven't seen much info on the effect of the stage 1 conversion).
Thanx

I've got a M52 with a Vortech running only 6 psi and it's ace. Tons of torque and still BMW 6 smooth. Dyno's 285 @ rear wheels (std was about 170). More boost is possible, as is intercooler upgrade etc..
I think you need to check the application against your engine spec as I don't think I know of anyone who's blown an S54, but plenty of S50's have been done.
Speak to Raj @ NS Racing about it. I'd recommend their work.
Racelogic? Their website has a ZM coupe on it I think, so it clearly is an option.
I've also had 1st hand experience of a Z3M with full ACS suspension and Strong Strut front & rear, which I'd also recommend if you haven't already.
I've upgraded discs to Brembo (stock size) and Pagid fast road pads - brilliant, but only last 3 TD's. No need to 300mm discs & 10 pots etc. IMHO.
Let us know.

The european spec 3.2 M engines are not very easy to tune at all - Mine has an Evolution 2 motorsport carbon plenum/airbox, dastek ECU, supersprint racing cats and AC Schnitzer back box and is now pushing out about 40bhp more than standard.
To supercharge them you need to do quite a lot of beefing up of the internals - www.infinitas-gmbh.de for example, charge €5k to supercharge a 330ci/Z4 3.0, but €13k - €17k to supercharge the M engine, giving some indication of just how involved this is.
