A DRIVER has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop following the death of a motorcyclist on one of Hampshire’s busiest motorways.

This comes after a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by truck on the westbound M27 near junction 5 at about 6.50am.

It's clear now, just came back from fareham to C/F but there is now an accident on the slip road to whitely! Car looks like it has been hit and gone sideways into the end of the barrier! Traffic is starting to build that way now.

Closed around 0700 and opened around 1430. Hedge End is finally getting back to normal.
