I noticed this name appear above an old cafe that used to be called Tringfellows and something else after that and it seemed to have cycle jersey's in the window.

So a quick google turned up little other than their facebook page and the following description

"We have a passion for riding our bikes, drinking coffee and eating good food. We had an idea about combining stuff we like to make something special here in Tring. You’ll see the changes around you and in the new food choices over the page. We are really into making good food and coffee but if we haven’t got it quite right for you then let us know. The menu will undoubtedly change and evolve with the occasional guest special when we think of things we think you’d like to try."

It is always going to be a difficult market place to open up with a big boy (lets call it Kosta) in a far more visible location in the town, along with 3 or 4 other independent coffee / cafes. But this one has always had a few bikes parked up outside it so it must be known and liked by the locals.

So, no relation or attachment to the cafe, just a helping 'shout out' to those in the area who might like to give it a try.

In the middle of the Tring High Street you will find the 'C' coffee shop, on the same side of the road looking down to the right you will see the cafe tucked in behind said 'C' shop.

I am going to try it out over the weekend and may post up some feed back.

Anything to chain a bike to outside? Might cycle down in a couple of weeks once my new bike is built. Not too far from Aylesbury!

Yes. Local-ish but not on bikes at the moment.

Needs encouragement.

Morning all. My name's Andy and I'm the person behind The Cog Tring. Thanks for posting up the note VEX - very much appreciated!

I'm a cyclist (am I allowed to say that?!!) - always grab a coffee and cake when out riding and thought I could do it a bit better so with that in mind have set The Cog up. Early sign are great but more the merrier so your all welcome down - be good to meet you.

I have a Facebook page - TheCogTring - just set up but gives you location and out core message.

And your quite right - our 'C' neighbours aren't quite shaking in their boots yet but from acorns etc!!

Thanks all
Andy
