Thinking about a Murci
Discussion
Sold both of mine, wasn't really a fan of the murky, too low on power... I am sure my Metro was quicker
Murci = Gorgeous, has some serious presence... imho far more than the 575, especially in the more garish(but somehow they work!) colours!
The only thing I have again the Lambo is the Interior Trim... its just so .. Audi..
But I guess its going to be a case of try it and see.
Be useful to know if you will fit tho.. given your, not so small, stature.
Imagine the fun you will have trying one tho
Certainly wont see many around oop narth at all!
Hell, I only see 2 down here, and one was Manu, avec Tubi iirc.
Enjoy

Following from Jim's post... how big are you Spie? (no nob gags in this thread please )
I'm 6ft3 and not exactly small... i found the Murcie a tight fit. I didn't really feel comfortable in it, shoulders close to window etc. It's not the biggest internally.
But they're gorgeous, ing fast, lovely lovely cars.

The Murci interior isn't Audi at all. Bespoke switches, dash, trim etc......
Sat in one today and there was much more room than I thought. Legroom is fine but this was an e-Gear car. Manual would be impossible. Headroom was a little tight. I need another 1/2" really. Dealer is looking at reducing thickness of seat. We'll see.

Hey Mark! Hope you're well mate. Through my business and before, Ajay and I have managed to run both cars (although it was a 550M) albeit breifly.
The key diffence between the two cars - "attitude" - needn't be explained as you can look at the styling of the two cars and this is immediately apparent.
Other points
1. The Murcielago is even quicker. Massive, massive torque even beyond the glorious 575M. Try this on the test drive - floor it in 4th at 30mph. I've seen indicated ~135 mph in 3rd without hitting the limiter.
2. Murcielago has more traction and outright grip.
3. 575M throttle response is superior.
4. 575M is MUCH more playful (Getting a Murcielago sideways isn't funny). The Murcielago is just mega STABLE. Someone I know did an indicated 260kph down a deserted Egham bypass for those of you that know the road.... err.
5. They are equally comfortable (I'm 5'10 and a lean-ish ~13stone).
6. Despite what people say, the Murcielago WILL double as a long distance cruiser.
7. The '04 575M F1 gearbox is EXCELLENT. (I haven't driven E-gear)
8. Consistency of Manual gearbox controls on 575M is better. Clutch/gearbox/throttle are just perfect. On Murcielago, clutch is overassisted, throttle lagged, and gearbox not quite as satisfying. Not bad but not quite as good.
9. Murcielago visibilty is very poor compared to 575M. Easy to get used to though.
10. 575M driving position has no offset - better.
11. They both sound SH1T without some aftermarket help.
12. LHD version improves the Murcielago's ergonomics a lot over and above the improvement for a LHD 575M.
13. 575M engine is a LOT smoother.
14. 575M interior is nice in all colours. Murcie interior in cream with say, a black exterior, improves it about 1000% and does away with "Audi" ness.
15. 575M edges the Lambo in build quality.
Not going to get drawn into a conversation on residuals & costs- that's a mission except to say Murcie is quite a bit more costly (but more exclusive)- clutch is £6k.
I'm forgetting loads.... and everyones about to go to sleep. Drop me a line if you want to know more.
Hope this helps!
Both - really, really nice cars.

Thanks Manu - nice insight. Saw/heard one today with a "sports exhaust" fitted. Was only a few months old and I think it was dealer/factory fitted. Very big bore end-pipes too. What was that? I know it wasn't Tubi.
Oh, and drop me a mail via the forums with your exhaust suggestions

I sat in one and it was too cramped. PS I am 6'5" tall. A TVR Tuscan has plenty of room though
But then if I know you Mark you don't tolerate unreliability although I now know the Speed 6 can be made very reliable.
If it where my money I would buy a Porsche 959!
PS. Are you keeping up to date with the new engine for the Radical?

Someone I know was sat next to him/her and lapses into shock and cold sweats just thinking about it
Awesome...
I did that too in my Tuscan S.. And 266 kph on the Windsor bypass...
