What to do with an old road bike

I have an old road bike that was given to me about 10 years ago. I doubt it's anything decent, (it's an Apollo, something or other???) but its all in working order. However, I have a few bikes already so looking to get rid. I'd like someone to actually get some use out of it though instead of just taking it to the tip.

Any suggestions? I've asked if the local oxfam shop want it but they weren't interested. I'm not fussed about getting anything for it, unless I find out its made of solid gold (its heavy enough...)

There was someone on here looking for a cheap/free road bike (although I think he scope-crept up to a new Dawes!).

Cheers all. Turns out a friend of the missus is collecting for a place in Gambia so the bike will be heading out there in a container later in the year to be used by someone who really needs it. Thanks for the replies.
