On Sunday I purchased one of these: for the sum of £75 from Halfords...... it's actually no where near as bad as we thought it would be and to be honest is a perfectly good bike for anyone who just wants to lark about, anyway as one of the few amongst my group of pals who isn't in the £2K bike club we've decided to take the piss a little bit and see what we can put together for the grand sum of £200 (including the bike!) I'll update with some pics once it's built but so far I've managed (all via e-bay) to track down a set of HS33 brakes, Ronin front forks, Tourney black crank set, Charge spoon saddle, quick release front and rear rims, race face stem and some race face bars and still have £22 of our budget remaining.

With all the stickers and tat taken off it's even starting to look quite respectable!

interesting idea, but is the fork not 1 1/8th, whereas the frame is 1" steerer tube?

Why not just buy a £200 bike in the first place?
