Two hour journey in the rain but the rain cleared on arrival at Stuarts.
Great afternoon, really busy, plenty of interesting cars and people.

Nice to chat also with Paul (Olderv8s) again.

By the way - the girl I was chatting to in the first photo has owned an S2 for 17 years and driven 80k mikes in it. Amazing what you find out when you chat to people. She fears it's about to fail it's MOT due to chassis rust and it'll then be beyond economic repair. A real shame.

It was nice to see such interest from the general public in the S's.

I didn't hear them called a Triumph once!

I agree, they look really nice, it's not often you see 3 grey V8S's together.

Regarding the Triumph thing, isn't it the Wedge that gets mistaken for a TR 7?
Although Triumph did produce a TR S ( just before the TR 5, it had two lovely bonnet bulges to clear the twin-cam engine, and was nick-named the Sabrina ).

I suppose I may be confusing people with the Austin badge on my Tasmin

Yes I did. She's taking it to Bespoke Performance for an opinion. She said she's happy to spend a little to keep it going, but if the verdict is a full chassis rebuild it won't make sense for her. A shame after 17 years !

Remind her that DG's are doing exchange chassis for £1,500. Obviously there's the swap over cost but that seems reasonable.

Hi.
I saw your cars. Quite stunning and bought back memories.
I did say hello and had a quick chat with the owner on the right, ie not tvr23 ( I recognise that plate) or Joseph .
They looked in fantastic condition.
I had an s2 - g971wby bought new from arkley, and v8s j912dyg. Both great, if flawed. They say they are better now !
I wonder what happened to them.
i have just located the owner of an alpina my father had in 1984 !
Still have a soft spot for these cars. D you have any links to their sounds ?

Oddly Amazon sell a cd which is just samples of different TVRs - both V6 and V8 S on there
