Service and MOT near Sawbridgeworth

The wife's snotter (a 2004 Corolla) is due a service and MOT and I've not had the need to use a local 'indie' garage for ages, so was just wondering if anybody has any tips of who to use (or who not) in the local area? Nothing special needs to be done, and I hope no work either, but would be glad of any suggestions - cheers!
