Any good welder 's out there?

Need a few things done on the XJ Coupe following the MoT. Seatbelt anchor points and some floor plates among other things. A budding Ed China would be ideal as it may involve a bit of fabricating tootongue out. Mobile preferred or I could get the car to the right place if needed,

Thanks in anticipation,

Darren

I've used a guy called Dave Collins a few times, though he's not "mobile". He has a unit in Mays Yard, Horndean (adjacent to Horndean MoT Centre). The postcode is PO8 0YP, and his phone number is 02392 599033.

If you get stuck, I work for a welding supply company so have literally 100's of contacts who you could try.

Thanks J666, ill bear that in mind though i am on the case with it.

Hi Mark, i took it to Gordon for the MoT and he shyed............is that a word.........away from the work! Not sure he's keen on the Workings of Jaguars as he steered clear of the V8 a couple of years ago when i had a head gasket blow.
I gave him the Coupe first and got a big refusal sheet then to earn some money i took the TWR down there, straight thru with just an advisory that the rear tyres are nearing the limit.........no st sherlock, its a Jag with me at the wheellaughdrivingyikes

Surprised at him doing that - ah well, his cash loss mate. Glad you are sorted though.

Tyres eh!? Can't they make them out of something more durable! wink
