Best logic I can think of :-)

Managed to get a short run in it...first fall already, luckily only scratched the seat & rear deraillieur! Not used to the different type of spd & pedal fitted... more used to the mtb pedal fitting.

Great bikes. My mum has the 2011 model and she loves it.

I see that the wheels are different from the 2011, which has DT Swiss which have the loudest free hub I've ever heard on a road bike!

Not only is it a disc brake but it looks like a CARBON disc brake - super blingy ( winkalso)

Is the saddle on the bike the one you went in to buy?

How musc do you want for it, thinking of converting mine to discs. Do you also have a front one?

Unless you want to use a plastic chain guard thingy as a disk brake, you probably dont want it smile

Actually.....I can sell you an identical pair for £100, including postage. if they feel a bit plasticy it's only due to the type of carbon used.

I'd love to see an exact breakdown of the thought process

"So a saddle costs £30, but then I have to spend time fitting it....and my peddles are getting a bit old too, so if I fit a new seat I may as well fit new peddles too, which takes the total to about £60, which isn that far off £2000, so really I may as well just by a whole new bike"

I suppose no one can complain, you did theoretically buy a saddle, it was just a 2000 pound saddle that came with some free accessories.
