Well, I suppose Ted is worried that this site will fall into pointless banterville, just like most of the popular chat sites.
The thing is, the fact that these tasteless threads are being posted and are stopped, for good reason, will remind PH'ers that this forum is one of the best - if not THE best - car and general chat sites on the web.
It all part of PistonHeads.com's growth, as I am sure all of the regulars will agree that if you do not push the boundries you will not forge ahead.
Hmm, beer. I have come over all phylisofical like.

Oh-err there is an odd co-incidence.
I also have a Midget 1500 project. But I managed to convince the other half she wouldn't enjoy driving it - no power steering or electric windows etc
After which I am thinking about a bike-engined Midget project, but with the Midget rolling shell I have tucked away in a corner of the garage. Going for a stripped out, windscreen-less, GRP panelled kind of thing.
Also postoned until after the looming 'W'.
BTW Midget shells and running gear are surprisingly light - I think the class weight limit on the 'road-modified' class B racing midgets (complete with windscreen and hardtop) is 600kg.
The class A fully mods (very very fully modded but still with heavy A-series and 'box) come in under 500kgs I believe. They are only 'ickle remember

My project is a mid-engined tube frame roadster. I'll be coming up to my second year on it soon.

I'm just about to finish a project, though I know that's not really in the spirit of projects. 1971 TR6 and will be well nice.
Wondering what to do next. Preferred ptions are:
Start new car resto project (fancy an Espada).
Build Caterham
Build aeroplane
Spend time with wife and children
Given financial position after TR will probably be family option. To be honest I ought to do that anyway...

a project IN the garage??? My project is the garage! Literally just had it extended and widened (THE GARAGE) to house the new addition. I find it worrying that I'm getting excited about a garage with an electric door, and lots of power sockets, one specifically for the battery conditioner.
Sad or what...?
