Hi

I'm after an credit card that is interest free on purchases, purely to buy a years car insurance on and allow me to pay it off over the coming months

I am currently in a position where i have left college and have no income, but have a job offer with a salary comfortably enough to grant me an interest free credit card. what's the chance of me being able to get an interest free credit card anywhere without a current income, but with the promise of an income starting in October?

Cheers

I doubt you'll be able to do it, a lot of companies won't give you credit until you've been at a company for 3-6 months and passed any necessary probationary period.

i thought that may be the case. paying it on my student credit card will only cost at most £70 interest over 12 months (assuming of course i can keep up with the repayments) so its not the end of the world

Give them a ring and find out, Tesco are doing a 18 month 0% interest at the moment I believe.
