Hi People, your help would be much appreciated! (Especially mortgage advisors)

My father is 56 years old and I am trying to get a mortgage in his name as I am struggling to get one in mine. The house is for me. He can only get a mortgage for 19 years because of his age and lenders will only lend to 75 years old.

He earns 70 k plus a year and has numerous amounts of other properties in his portfolio.

To keep my costs down the 19 years mortgage is working out too much. Does anybody know of lenders that that go up to 85 years of age?

Your help would be much appreciated!

Woulnt it make more sense to get a joint mortgage in his and your name? ( i think you can go past 75 with this)

Leeds will go to age 80 and have 0% interest for 3 or 6 months depending on which scheme you choose.
