high idle 1200-1500 revs after 'b road runs'

any ideas what this could be? It clears if I turn off then on again?

Idle speed control valve sticking, try filing it with carb cleaner waiting twenty mins and then giving it a good shake. I'd disconnect the solinoid part first.

Only four bolts to undo and its right on top of the engine so dead easy. There are videos on u-tube etc for various models if you search for idle speed control valve.
