Can anyone help me?

I am designing a luxury driving holiday and I will have three days in Tuscany, and am looking for some fantastic driving roads, great places to see, and a fabulous hotel.

Thank you in advance.

The Raticosa and Futa passes between Bologna and Florence are wonderful with stunning scenery and part of the Mille Miglia route. I drove them last week, and loved it. smile

ears

I'm off to Tuscany later in the year, so keen to hear about this. I think basically it gets better the further north you go - down where we're staying (near Arezzo) I don't think there's a great deal to write home about.

Tbh most of the Tuscan roads are special, the place where we stayed last time (castello de Meleto) had some truly unreal roads.

What I liked was it all felt safer than the alps passes which could have sheer drops and random icy water on parts of the road.

Drivers paradise!

Second this. The road from the Siena area to Volterra was pretty special, as were the roads around Montalcino/Montepulciano.

in that area I would strongly recommend this road from San Gimignano to Volterra, possibly on an early morning and not during a weekend: http://goo.gl/maps/IGGT1

And as said in many posts the roads around the Mugello are pretty special too (Raticosa and Futa Pass above all).
