Anyone else suffer this?

Watching the tdf in between excel spreadsheets.
Man, i want that tdf training bike. It looks soooo cool. I realise it's probably not, but for a posh alternative to a turbo it looks fab.

I'm also still lusting after a focus cayo, purely because it looks like an angry carbon wasp. Can't justify it, i'm merely a magpie.

Yes, but usually my sensible side kicks in if said item is bad value, which lots of things in cycling are.

I love the latest Castelli corsa top, but at £107 they can get to fk!

This ^^^ is a refreshing attitude. I thought I was just about the only person left on planet Earth who didn't fall to his hands and knees, praying to be parted from his wallet, at the mere mention of 'Rapha'.

Much insanity exists regarding prices for all sorts of goods though. This morning I was watching telly and saw an advert for a TV. It cost less than my bloody tent, FFS. Cycling 'tax' is getting stupid now, though. Many products designed specifically for cycling are far more expensive than similar products designed for wider/more generic uses.
