Engine temperature

Just out of interest today, I pointed an infrared thermometer round the engine bay after a 20 mile run.
Top of cylinder head was 88 degrees
Swirl pot 92
Exhaust manifolds 280 ish,
Alternator 75
Probably of no value to anybody but kept me amused for a while.

Could be of value to ease the concern of Nice Cup Of Tea and his smell of burning fibreglass. A scout round could pinpoint a hotspot.
