Most fun track day I've ever done!!

Just been to a track day at Donington park, only cost £1!!

The car wasnt needed...




Than I noticed something interesting in a dark garage...



...oh best laptime; 7:15, just under 20mph average, going back in a couple of weeks to see if I can shave 15seconds off the lap time

I'd imagine that Donnington would be a slidefest in the wet with all of the rubber, oil and aircraft fuel from the airport laid down........

Gangzoom, are you in a local cycle club? The West Bridgford cycle club were up there last night and I am curious if you are one of them?

I went down with my teenage son, it was a great way to spend an evening. Nice to be able to potter about enjoying the weather. Plenty of people trying to put in a quick lap but also loads of families with small children so something for everybody.

There is another one on the 5th August.

I cycled around Oulton Park a few weeks ago. It was great fun and I'd seen the Dono days and fancied doing one.

My famy did part of the Oulton day too and thought it fantastic so it is good to know that these evenings are family friendly. We'll all be there soon!

Not part of any club, was there with a mate, have not recurited another 4 mates for the next one on the 5th. Aiming to do a team time trail...unfortunatly I don't think we have the descpline to stay in formation for 1 lap let alone 5 Have even nearly managed to convince the wife to come and bring the SLR for some decent pics
