Cateye Stealth 10
Discussion
Not impressed.
Got this to replace my iphone's patchy gps recordings uploaded into Strava for my mountain bike excursions. Whilst the unit itself is very well made the software that comes with it is on first use nothing short of dreadful. Clearly written by the chinese
Currently I cannot even login to Cateye's version of Strava (called Atlas) even though I just successfully registered! Allegedly its integrated into Strava and so on trying that instead its recorded a 3km trip in Faversham, Kent. Is this a distribution hub for Wiggle or something? Its roughly 200 miles from where I rode last night
Anyone else faired better with one of these new units?

Does the device work like external memory when you plug it in to a computer? If so what format do the activity files come up as?
If the files come in a format that Strava is happy with it might be easier to drag them off the device and upload them into strava from the file upload screen while they're sorting our their rubbish software.

I've been using a Cateye Stealth for a while now and it's a smart unit. I haven't had any problems with it either.
Might be worth speaking to whoever you bought it from and have it sent to warranty inspection. With techie products like this (including Garmin!) you always end up having a few units with errors. It's par for the course really.
