Goodbye My Midlands Friends

Well, I have just bought a one way ticket to California. I'm leaving Nottingham for (what I hope will be) good on Wednesday 14th August.

I've sold my Clio, something I never wanted to do, and that is being collected on 4th August. I'm a little bit reluctant to move into a 2003 Toyota Camry LE V6, but at least its petrol.

I've had so much fun and made so many friends and I hope to keep in touch with and see when I come back to see family on occasions.

I'm getting married on the beach, Coronado beach, San Diego to be specific. I can only hope for weather like its been here recently, which more than likely it will be.

I've got my final visa interview at the end of the month, but I don't see any reason why that should go badly.

I could carry on writing loads but I will leave it simple.

Find the top gun bar in san diego and have a beer.

One of the big hotels overlooking the bay has a bar at the top, open to non-residents. Have a beer there too and enjoy the sunset.

Stay away from American women
