ECU - A removal question

On the rear of the cage that the ECU sits in there is an immobiliser type device which has been screwed onto the cage from within the ECU cage.....

Is it possible to remove the ECU from the cage without undoing connections? such that i can

get to the screws to remove the lid:
then see the serial number
that will allow me to
get PIN from TOAD / SCORPION that will
allow me to sync a new fob!!!

Crikey - no wonder these things are good for your insurance premium!

Alternatively, please supply one large Anchor and Chain with very big padlock !
