What new mtb? £1200

Need something to do all day riding through rough stuff, preferably full suspension but so many choices out there I'm lost. I was thinking some sort of kona from crc but they appear to be all sram and I don't favour it with my hardtail bike. I've got a interest free credit card for 11 months so I figure budget £1200-£1400 and pay it off monthly (just saying this to remind me).

Standard answer is Canyon and its hard to disagree really with spec like this, £1200 isnt much for a full suspension bike but gets a really good hardtail

I'd go for the Canyon or a high end hardtail unless you start hunting in the sales but then its finding something you like in the right size...

If you go canyon expect a long wait they can't meet demand at the moment. I know someone who after 6 weeks waiting received there's on Wednesday to find they'd shipped the wrong size I just picked up a giant anthem x 29er for £1300 from pedalon a good specked bike but it does have SRAM which I'm still getting used too.
