It's bike Thursday in my local LIDL and they've got the bike work stands in for £29.99. Bargaintastic, I've had mine for a couple of years and its still perfect

Just got a pair of gloves for 2.99 and a bike backpack for 9.99,its got bits to keep it off your back a rain cover n a few other funky things,kaiser bargaintastic.

I got the wireless speedo and a few pairs of socks last night. The speedo seems really quite good for £7

Isn't it just, last time I bought one my average speed improved dramtically

I thought it was rather unfortunate (although no fault of Lidl's, I'm sure) that the first place I saw this was an obvious failure of context-sensitive advertising which had resulted in Lidl cycling special ads being plastered all over a web page with a news story about a young lady being killed whilst riding a Boris bike.

I bought the toolkit and a water bottle. Didn't fancy the computer, and wasn't sure what benefit the socks gave... Anyone advise?

Just don't get the panniers, if they're on again. Got to the third pedal, it snapped and dropped my laptop on the deck.
I have now bought twice, predictably.

Has anyone used the tyre sealant? Is it any good, I may get a couple of cans to keep just in case

It looks very similar to the Black Dog one I have. Similar enough (as in all the plastics the same place & colour etc) for me to assume it is the same. If so, then it's a brilliant stand for the money, so even more of a bargain at Lidl where it's a tenner cheaper!

Yup! Used it for a pinch(I think) puncture. It sealed the puncture but deflated after a couple of hundred yards. After re-inflating it stayed up and I managed to complete my ride of some eight miles. What I would say is, once used, keep spinning the wheel for a minute or two to make sure the fluid distributes evenly around the tube.
