coolant top up

How often do you check your coolant and how often do you top up.

Every week ... probably paranoid... I think most people overfill (including me). I have a dip stick marked with the level that the car seems to like . Overfill it comes through the cap and makes a mess of my polished water tank .
I do like the idea of the spyglass... ( I guess it's only any good if you have a hinged bonnet )

I never check mine anymore. It always seemed low to me but was told it was fine. Car never gets too hot so I leave it to the specialists at service time.

Maybe I should be keeping more of an eye on it!

I think they find a level they are happy with, you top them up and they just seem to puff it out the filler cap

It is just another misdesign from Tvr engineers.
The room to expand is too small and/or water spills to the top while braking so that water instead of air is getting out.

Some Jaguars and a Honda Jazz for exaple spilled put water from expansion tank in a seperate tank.
