Great 'D'-Lock!!!

So, just found out today that our work buildings 'facilities management' had gone round cutting off the locks left on the bike racks by regular cyclists. The excuse being that many were old and left by people who'd moved on. Seemingly they had left notices on the racks for a week but me having been out of cycling for a few weeks due to concussion and torn calf muscle didn't know about it. I fast-limped down to the racks to find that the only lock left was mine. They'd tried to cut it but had only broken the plastic covering and scratched the metal.

Compensation from the company is limited to £40. Thieving bar stewards. My cable lock vanished, so gonna get one of those chain-link ones to pee them off further.

What company do you work for? They could have just emailed everyone in the building no? I bet there would be outrage if they broke into all the cars in the car park...

They get away with it by putting up notices, but they could certainly have e-mailed everyone. It's not UK, so difficult to fight... I was the lucky one, they cleared loads of locks!

Wish my work would clear the bikes that are locked to the racks permanently and leave space for those of us who actually use the racks daily!

That's a good advert for your lock though!
