Managed to get the FTO down to a 9.550@158 this weekend (some runs breaking the 160 barrier) not too shabby for a front wheel drive

Fair play that man. Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate what the fwd guys are doing, there's a lot of work that goes into the fwd cars by the look of it. Just out of interest how much money does it cost to build. Car like that?

Now that we know what works together and what doesn't, what breaks and what doesn't I could probably build another for £30-40k but this one has been though loads of development, different engines, different gearboxes, too many driveshafts etc.. etc.. etc..

The Honda boys have it a lot easier as its all tried and tested out in the states, so can buy crate engines & gearboxs ready to race a lot cheaper.

Ouch! Considering you can buy an altered or dragster for circa 15k and run that time, it ain't cheep! Still fair play, that's what I love about drag racing, variety and engineering. Fair play to ya!
