East Grinstead to Dublin !!!

Driving back from a visit to family in Wales today, I decided to drive the A4069 from Brynamam toward Llangadog. Friday was the first time I'd driven it, on the way down, and I wanted another crack at it in the opposite direction.
Anyhoo. At Coed Pen-Y-Rhiw I decided to take the 'more interesting' route across to Trecastle. Just after the Usk Reservoir I spotted a cyclist climbing a hill (I'd stopped to grab a photo of the stunning scenery). Close behind him were another two cyclists wearing similar jerseys. Then another fella, who smile when I gave him a wave. Their jerseys were emblazoned with "East Grinstead to Dublin" and "Dementia".
After I'd set off again I met the remainder of the riders, crossing what I imagine was the River Usk just before Trecastle. They appeared to be followed by a LandRover which I believe was a support vehicle.
The point of the post? Dunno really. I've tried to find info about this charity ride but come up blank on Google.
I just wanted to say "Chapeau!" to those riders. It was incredibly hot out there today. Also, does anyone on here know of anybody who is taking part in this event? If you do know of anyone involved, I took a couple of photos of those first four guys which I could pass on if they are interested. I'm no photographer, but if it might help with any publicity they're doing, they can gladly have the shots.
On a personal note, next time I go 'home' I'll be sure to take my road bike. I really need to have a crack at the A4069 on two wheels

I'll even drag my little brother out, to show him that the 'old git' has still got what it takes I yesterday returned to Rosslare harbour and saw this group of cylists disembark from the ferry. We had been to Stratford Upon Avon to the annual GTI International show.
The cylists had already had a head start. We came across a group of 5 or so of them and unfortunately here comes the bad news.
As we approached them the first of them, a woman, cycled past a petrol station entrance but got absolultely blown of her cylce by a thick motorist who obviously did not wear his glasses and is probably from that generation in Ireland where the licenses were posted out to them as a birthday gift!
She was on the ground holding her leg when we passed by and there were plenty of witnesses and riders behind her so we carried on as we were already late.
I have been looking to see if I can find an address to email to see how she is getting on as the bike was damaged also and she went up into the air a good few feet before coming down.
I hope she sues the crap out of that guy, it was not hard to miss their jerseys as they stood out quite a bit, also they had right of way.
If you find any info let me know, as I am also not able to find anything on that group.

Damn it, that really sucks.
I haven't been able to find any info about the ride on the net, and I've run out of new and interesting key words to put in the search bar. That's the reason why I came on here to ask. I thought perhaps someone would know a member of the ride team, either through family, friends, or work, and might have a link to where I could send the pics I took, and maybe a donation. Hell, I was actually hoping to get a reply from a PHer who was actually on the ride - it's the sort of daft challenge some of the Pedal Powered crew might take up.
I hope the lady who got clobbered is OK. If any of the team get to see this, feel free to get in touch and I'll get the pictures off to you.
