I'm a Jeep Patriot 2.2 diesel driver who has just had a great laugh with my local Jeep main dealer. Yes, really! No, sorry, its really the dealer having a laugh: he said a 36,000 mile service was going to be almost £400...

Does anyone know of a VAT-registered independent garage near Portsmouth, Southampton, Basingstoke or Reading that will do me a 36,000 mile service for a sensible price using genuine parts in a way that will retain my Jeep warranty?

Looking for similar for Dodge! Must be bit of pain to have to have to pay a dealer for a straight forward job of oil and filter change, just to maintain a warranty. But a service is peace of mind too.... (?!)

I think Jim over at IGS still does Jeep stuff although he doesn't seem to advertise it anymore.

Failing that, most Indies will do a service on it. Just supply them the jeep bits/oil so you know whats gone in
