R230 SL63 Owners

Any owners have any reviews about the above car?

Seems to be some good ones around £50k - looking to get one this week or next.

I know its thirsty, but more interested in reliability, using it is a daily, any issues etc?

But thats the 2002 car, considerably different to the 2010 cars, in fact, the 2005 model year brought a series of upgrades which improved it, and the 2008 facelift, further more.

Any owners?

I had one from 2009 to 2011, it was easily one of the best cars I have ever had. I regretted swapping it in and tried to buy it back from the dealer but they had already sold it. The only problem with the car was a judder when pulling away from junctions despite several visits to the dealer for gearbox software updates. I would have bought the new model but just don't feel it looks as good as the old one.

The jerky box issue has also been mentioned, must be inherent
