I would like to see it in the flesh, and I think it is going to be very spec depenant.
Some angles are very unflattering, but others look alright. Look forward to seeing the full digital release soon.

What the hell were they thinking??? The front bar makes it look like a pegeuot 107
I don't have an issue using the new bmw engines, they are good, but i would of hoped the hatch design - the main model, would have just been tweaked slightly rather than changed so dramtically.
I hope they havnt messed around with the way it drives and it looks better in the flesh.
It will be interesting to see what effect this new shape has on second hand values of gen 1 & 2 minis, particulaly S and JCW variants. Seeing how the mini brand is progressing i doubt there will be a shortage of demand, but for me, on looks at least - this is a massive dissapointment.

I remember when the R56 was launched and there was huge uproar, but with time and familiarity, most seem to like them now.
Although in saying that, I do hope these are more reliable than the R56 S (pre-facelift). Just look what has happened to the values of early cars compared to the late R53s.
I do want another MINI at some point, and I will not go near another R56 S for as long as I live, so hopefully the F56 is something special. It's going to have to be in order to be a better car than the R53...
