Hi, looking for some suggestions on appropriate Hi Fi to put into new Chimp500. Will have the factory in Malaysia do the install but would appreciate any owners comments on a serious rig that they have installed successfully and really happy with.
Thanks

Well, if you're not using it, I'll give you a tenner for it
Seriously, I use my stereo quite a lot. But then I suspect my Chim gets more varied driving that some: I just realised that I've done 10000 miles in it since last July.
[edit] And I'm sure lots of people would disagree about S Club 7 too :-)

What's the grand stereo for? You can't hear any 'subtle' music whatsoever over the top of that (wonderful) engine note without having the volume so high yer ears would bleed.
I reckon you just chuck something in that is loud enough to hear - the quality (after a certain easily achievable and inexpensive point) isn't going to make any difference whilst you are actually travelling.
To my mind the most important contributing factor to enjoyng some music whilst you drive in a Chim is selecting some complimentary sounds.
i.e. Loud, fast, beaty etc. (I happen to like Chicago Electric Blues but there are plenty of other music forms which would do it).
I like classical guitar too - but in the Tiv its not worth the bother...
