I'm thinking of buying one as a rounabout for use when I am in Singapore, anyone have any experiences of these cars or good websites giving details/pitfalls on them?

Look very carefully at the cam belts and all associated gubbings, I believe they were the achillies heel of an otherwise good motor, don't know if they rust though as I haven't seen one for years.

The Sillouette, it is claimed, engineered out all the glitches so a look at the mechanical differences between the two might be worthwhile.

Clive, I am sure you must know about the registration fee requirements in Singapore (the ability to own a car for x years). A Lambo in Singapore must be incredibly expensive! My compny imported a Rover 800 into S once, the car cost about 20K the fees were another 40K!

The car is already here. Basically the taxes make the car 3 times as much is in UK plus the CoE (Certificate of Entittlement) and a hefty road tax but once you get used to the idea that a Toyota Corolla 1.6 costs GBP35k then it is just a different set of numbers for the Lamborghini. It would be nice to have the only one here though. The Chinese owner is refusing to budge from 95k....

Keep the advice coming.
